Thanks for a great November meeting of the Syracuse Urbanism Collective!
At this month’s meeting, we had a recap of our very successful second year of the collective, including the Smart Growth in CNY Conference and much more. See the bottom of this post for the presentation slides from the recap.
Below are some upcoming events and updates. Events can typically be found on our website calendar.
- There will be no December meeting. We’re taking a break, other than to plan for the new year and apply to the Community Streets Program. Please let us know if you’d like to help put together this application.
- Please send us your notes from the meeting on the community streets project and ideas for next steps for 2025!
- Attend the CNY Regional Market Revialization Strategy Public Meeting on Monday December 2 at the market’s F Shed, at 6pm. Refreshments will be served beginning at 5:30pm.
- Attend meetings for the Syracuse Developmental Center redevelopment on Monday December 2 at 6pm for the City Planning Commission meeting, or Monday December 9 at 8am for the Syracuse Industrial Development Agency meeting. Both meetings are at the Common Council Chambers at Syracuse City Hall.
- We’re planning to start up the Urbanist Book Club in the new year!
