Thanks for a great February meeting this week of the Syracuse Urbanism Collective!
At this month’s meeting, we hosted a brainstorming session about districts and nightlife, inspired by the city’s new role of District and Nightlife Coordinator! We hope to share some of these ideas with the new coordinator soon.
We also discussed a number of other projects, including Community Streets! Our upcoming Community Streets projects will focus on the Hawley-Green neighborhood, the intersection of Montgomery / Jefferson streets Downtown, and a refresh of last year’s painted pedestrian bump-outs at Salina & Jefferson streets.
